A church for all at the heart of Shadwell.

St Paul’s Church is a traditional village church and has been a centre for worship for the people of Shadwell since 1842. For over 175 years this church has been a place where the people of Shadwell have worshipped God and marked the important milestones in their lives, and we continue to extend a warm welcome to all. Our worship on Sunday mornings is rooted in the Anglican tradition and we would love to welcome you to come and make St Paul’s your home. We also have more contemporary worship once a month at our Messy Church services in the village hall. It would be wonderful to see you at any of our services. Our parish is part of the Moor Allerton and Shadwell Team Ministry within the Diocese of Leeds.

Our Remembrance Sunday Service on Sunday 10th November will be at the later time of 10am and will end with an act of remembrance around the war memorial at 11am.

Our next informal 4PM Service is celebrating Holy Communion on Sunday 10th November at 4pm. The service will last around 45 mins and will be a celebration service for families and all ages. Come along to share in faith, fun, food and friendship!
